Annual Harrah Daze Celebration An all day event, kicking off with a parade in the morning traveling through downtown to Heritage Park. Fun, Food and Fellowship for the entire family. Lots of games and entertainment. A spectacular fireworks display will conclude the days events.
Jones has a population of approximately 2,500 people.
C.G. Jones was a railroad man and was instrumental
in bringing the railroad through a town know then as
Glaze, Oklahoma. The town changed its name from Glaze
to Jones in his honor. C.G. Jones played a big part
in Oklahoma Statehood, and was both Mayor of Oklahoma
City and a State Reprehensive, just to name a few of
his accomplishments.
